A family reunion villa in Marrakech has to solve three problems at once: where each generation sleeps, whether everyone fits around one table, and how far the grandparents have to travel from the plane to their bed. In our catalogue, the best answers are villas split into two houses or pavilions (Villa Edith, Villa Nolan, Villa Andalucía, Villa Azarenka, Domaine Beldi), houses with bedrooms on the ground floor (Villa Aria, Villa Four Seasons, and the single-storey Villa Idir and Villa Lyla), and the few listings that state how many people the dining table seats.

In short

  • Several of our listings split the family between buildings, notably Villa Edith (13 + 10 guests), Villa Nolan (7 bedrooms + 3 suites, two pools), Villa Andalucía (6 suites + the optional 4-bedroom La Granada pavilion), Villa Azarenka (7 garden villas) and Domaine Beldi (suites, an apartment and a villa).
  • Only seven listings give a table size. The largest is Villa Andalucía, with a dining room for up to 24 guests; Palais Mauresque seats 18 indoors.
  • Villa Asana is the only listing that mentions “wheelchair-accessible facilities”, and it is 15 minutes from the airport. No listing describes a step-free route from bedroom to pool: ask us to confirm it.
  • At listed capacity, starting prices work out at about €100 to €110 per person per night at Villa Hazel, Villa Ellie and Villa Edith (prices checked October 2026).

Start with a sleeping plan, not a bedroom count

Grandparents go to bed at ten and want a bathroom a few steps away; parents of toddlers need a room near the children; cousins in their twenties stay up by the pool. A listing that says “11 bedrooms” does not tell you how those three rhythms will live together.

So draw the plan first: who shares, who needs a ground-floor room, which families want their own living room. Our guide to large villas for 10 to 20 people covers bedroom counts and price per bedroom; this page reads the same listings for the questions a three-generation family asks.

Villas that split into separate houses or pavilions

Terrasse couverte de la Villa Edith donnant sur le jardin
The covered terrace of Villa Edith, one of two houses on the same estate.

The most useful layout for a reunion is two houses that share a garden and a pool: the generations meet at lunch and part at bedtime. Villa Edith, in the Palmeraie, is the clearest case. Its main house has five double bedrooms and a children’s bedroom for up to 13 people (10 adults and 3 children); the second house has five double bedrooms for up to 10. Each has its own reception or living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen and TV lounge.

At Villa Nolan, the first house has seven bedrooms and the second three master suites overlooking a heated pool with a Jacuzzi, in a fenced 12,000 m² garden with a children’s area, a trampoline, a slide and swings. The two houses can be rented separately or together, so check that your quote covers both.

Villa, areaHow the listing splits the roomsFrom per night
Villa Edith, PalmeraieTwo houses: up to 13 guests (incl. 3 children) and up to 10; 11 bedrooms€2,500
Villa Nolan, PalmeraieTwo houses, each with a pool: 7 bedrooms, and 3 master suites€2,000
Villa Andalucía, Route de l’OurikaSix suites for 12 to 15 people, plus La Granada, an optional pavilion with 4 en-suite bedrooms for 8 to 10 more€2,051
Villa Azarenka, Route de l’Ourika4 master suites and 7 garden villas of about 100 m², each with a patio, outdoor shower and terrace; up to 18 people€3,940
Domaine Beldi, Route de Ouarzazate12 suites, a three-bedroom apartment and a five-bedroom villa with its own pool; a babysitter can be arranged€3,000
Villa Mansouria, Palmeraie9 bedrooms: the main house on three floors, plus a bedroom for three reached from the garden and a bedroom in a garden pavilion€2,750
Villa Luna, Route de Ouarzazate3 suites in the main house and a guest pavilion with 2 en-suite bedrooms€750

On a larger scale, Palais Mauresque has two optional 80 m² loft villas for up to three adults each, with a plunge pool, and Villa Savannah an independent villa of more than 110 m² with its own pool. When a pavilion is “optional”, ask us whether the starting price includes it.

Can everyone eat at one table?

The long dinner is the point of a reunion, yet only seven of our 39 listings state how many people the dining room or main table seats. Here they are, from the largest:

VillaWhat the listing saysBedroomsFrom per night
Villa AndalucíaDining room “that can accommodate up to 24 guests”6 suites + optional 4-bedroom pavilion€2,051
Palais MauresqueIndoor dining room with 18 seats; Grand Salon for up to 2011 units€3,600
Villa HazelDining room for 12 people6€1,200
Villa ArwaDining room for 10 to 12 people4€1,280
Villa LuciaLarge dining room for 10 people5€750
Villa EvaShaded terrace with a table for 10 guests5€995
Villa VenusDining area for up to eight guests5€900
Salle à manger de la Villa Andalucía
The dining room at Villa Andalucía, the largest stated table in our catalogue.

A family larger than the table does not rule a villa out: many listings describe terraces and outdoor dining areas. What they do not say is how many people the kitchen can serve at once, or at what cost: tell us the number at dinner and we will confirm it with the house.

Children’s supper

Many families want the children fed at six and the adults at eight. No listing says whether the cook will serve two sittings. Ask us before you book, and see how meals work in our guide to what a fully staffed rental includes.

Grandparents: ground-floor bedrooms and step-free access

Many Marrakech villas spread over two or three floors. These listings say in writing where the bedrooms are:

  • Single-storey: Villa Idir, on the Amelkis golf, has “4 single-storey Suites” around two patios (from €650); Villa Lyla, on the Route de l’Ourika, is “a spacious single storey house” with four bedrooms (from €712).
  • Three bedrooms on the ground floor: Villa Aria, in the Palmeraie, has three ground-floor bedrooms with direct access to the terrace and garden, and two parental suites upstairs (from €2,200). Villa Four Seasons, within the Four Seasons Marrakech, also has three bedrooms downstairs and two suites upstairs, five minutes from downtown (from €2,000).
  • Four around a courtyard: Villa Mangue, on the Route de Tahanout, places four bedrooms around its central courtyard, with two more upstairs, and a pool heated all year (from €750).
  • One on the ground floor: Villa Harmony and Villa Venus, both on the Amelkis golf estate, each list one ground-floor bedroom with its own bathroom (from €650 and €900).
  • Garden-level rooms: at Villa Mansouria, the first bedroom “opens directly onto the garden”, and the separate bedroom for three outside the main house is “accessible from the garden”.
Pool and gardens of Villa Mansouria
The pool and gardens of Villa Mansouria, where two bedrooms open onto the garden.

Only one listing mentions accessibility at all. Villa Asana, on the Route d’Amizmiz, lists “wheelchair-accessible facilities” among its outdoor features. It has seven bedrooms, a 17 × 6 m pool whose depth ranges “from 20cm to 1.80m”, and it is 15 minutes from the airport and 14 from the centre (from €1,120).

A ground-floor bedroom is not the same as step-free access. None of our listings describes the route from bedroom to bathroom, terrace, pool and dining room. If anyone in the family uses a wheelchair or a walking frame, or should avoid steps, ask us to confirm it with the house and send photos of thresholds, the shower and the path to the pool before you pay.

Short drives for tired travellers: airport and centre times

With an 80-year-old and a two-year-old in the car, 15 minutes and 45 are not the same trip. Times from each listing’s “Proximities” section, shortest airport transfer first:

Times are the listings’ own figures and depend on traffic; Villa Mansouria and Villa Venus do not give them, so ask us. A pre-booked driver can bring a vehicle sized for luggage, pushchairs and a folding wheelchair: see our guide to Marrakech airport transfers.

What a reunion costs per person

A villa is priced for the whole house, so divide the starting price by the number of guests the listing states. On that basis, a family reunion in a staffed villa often costs less per head than hotel rooms; the full comparison is in villa or hotel for groups and families.

VillaGuests stated in the listingFrom per nightPer person per night
Villa Hazel12€1,200€100
Villa Ellie16€1,680€105
Villa Edith23 (13 + 10)€2,500€109
Villa Andalucía, six suites (pavilion not counted)15 (listing: 12 to 15)€2,051€137
Villa Azarenka18€3,940€219

Our calculation from starting prices, October 2026. Children count as guests; meals, pool heating and transfers are extra. Villa Ellie is the exception to the split-house rule: eight suites and rooms for up to 16 people in one house.

When to plan it: school holidays, Ramadan and the clock

  • Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin on or around 8 February and to end with Eid al-Fitr on or around 10 March 2027. These dates are provisional and depend on the moon sighting; February half-terms fall inside it. What it changes for a villa stay is in our Ramadan guide, and the holiday-by-holiday view in half-term and Easter villa holidays.
  • Time difference: Morocco has been on GMT all year since 20 September 2026 (time.is). Once the UK clocks go back on 25 October 2026, Marrakech is on the same time as London; from 28 March 2027 (GOV.UK) it is one hour behind. Paris is one hour ahead in winter and two in summer. For grandparents and toddlers, that means almost no jet lag from Europe.
  • Book early: large villas go first for Christmas, New Year and Easter. Terms are in each contract: see deposits, contracts and cancellation.

Some answers only the house can give. Send us these with your dates and we will reply in writing:

  • Is there a step-free route from the ground-floor bedroom to the bathroom, the pool and the dining room?
  • Is the pool fenced or alarmed, and how deep is the shallow end? (Our guide to a family villa with kids lists the pool questions.)
  • Does the starting price include the second house, pavilion or optional villas?
  • Can the house provide cots and high chairs, and can a babysitter be arranged for an evening?
  • Will the cook serve the children earlier, and how many can the kitchen serve at one dinner?
  • Is the pool heated for your dates, and at what cost?

Frequently asked questions

Which Marrakech villas suit a family reunion with grandparents?

Look for a layout that separates the generations. Villa Edith has two houses for 13 and 10 guests; Villa Nolan has a seven-bedroom house and a three-suite house, each with a pool; Villa Andalucía adds an optional four-bedroom pavilion. For grandparents, Villa Idir and Villa Lyla are single-storey, and Villa Aria has three ground-floor bedrooms.

Is there a wheelchair-accessible villa in Marrakech?

In our catalogue, Villa Asana on the Route d’Amizmiz is the only listing that mentions “wheelchair-accessible facilities”; it has seven bedrooms and is 15 minutes from the airport. No listing describes a full step-free route from bedroom to pool, so ask us to confirm it with the house and send photos before you book.

Which villa has a dining table for 20 or more people?

Villa Andalucía, on the Route de l’Ourika, states a dining room that can accommodate up to 24 guests. Palais Mauresque, in Ouled Hassoune, has an indoor dining room with 18 seats and a Grand Salon for up to 20. Only seven of our 39 listings give a table size, so ask us about the others.

How much does a family reunion villa in Marrakech cost per person?

Dividing starting prices by the guests each listing states, Villa Hazel works out at about €100 per person per night (12 guests), Villa Edith at about €109 (23 guests) and Villa Azarenka at about €219 (18 guests), as checked in October 2026. Meals, pool heating and transfers are extra, and rates rise at Christmas and Easter.

A reunion works when everyone has their own corner and one shared table. Tell us the ages, the number of bedrooms you need and who should avoid stairs, and we will send you a sleeping plan for the villas that fit.
