Our golf villas in Marrakech are spread over three estates with different characters: Amelkis and its 27 holes on the Route de Ouarzazate, Al Maaden and its resort services, and Samanah, the Nicklaus course facing the Atlas, plus one villa on the Route d’Amizmiz with three courses within a 5-minute drive.
Which estate you pick matters more than which villa: it decides the course you play most, how far you are from the medina and what the non-golfers do all day. Below: the four locations, the eight villas side by side, and how a golf stay works in practice.

Amelkis: the most choice, on the course
A private estate at km 12 on the Route de Ouarzazate with 27 holes by Cabell B. Robinson in three loops of nine, hilly and laid out around lakes. Five of our villas are here, the most on any one estate, from Villa Idir on the front line of the course to Villa Venus inside the Amelkis Golf Resort. Al Maaden: a villa with hotel services
Kyle Phillips’ par-73 course on the Route du Golf Royal, with a sculpture park set along the fairways. Villa Deluxe Almaaden stands inside the secure resort and its listing includes full hotel services, the resort’s spa and its restaurant: three en-suite bedrooms, a private 45 m² pool, a patio with a fireplace and a retractable roof, and a rooftop bar. It suits a couple or a small group of golfers who would rather not run a household.

Samanah: the Atlas from the roof
Nicklaus Design’s first course in Morocco, at km 14 on the Route d’Amizmiz, on a private estate facing the Atlas; in 2020 it hosted the first PGA Tour Champions event in Africa. From the sky bar on the roof of Villa Eva you look over the course, the estate’s lake and the mountains. Five suites, a heated pool with an outdoor bar and Japanese gravel gardens. The listing gives the golf as 5 minutes away.

Route d’Amizmiz: three courses, five minutes
Not on an estate but between three of them. According to its listing, Villa Asana is within 5 minutes’ drive of Noria, Royal Palm and Samanah along the dam road, 14 minutes from the centre and 15 from the airport. Seven bedrooms, a 17 x 6 m pool, a hammam and an olive grove: the largest of our golf villas, for a group who want to play a different course every day. Royal Palm asks for a licence and a handicap of 28 or better.

A golf stay from a villa, in practice
Staying on an estate does not include green fees: you book and pay tee times like any visitor, at 2026 rates of 950 dirhams at Amelkis, 1,100 at Samanah and 1,350 at Al Maaden for 18 holes. What you save is the transfer, and with it the early start.
- Caddie: compulsory on every Moroccan course since May 2025, paid in cash on the day
- Tee times: from October to April, book a few days ahead. Send us your courses and days with your villa enquiry
- Clubs: most clubs rent full sets, so you can travel without your bag
- Handicap: carry proof of it, which Royal Palm and Assoufid require
- Winter: mornings are cool, around 6 to 8 °C at dawn from December to February, so a heated pool makes the afternoons more pleasant. Harmony, Inocencia and Eva have one; Perla’s is heated on request

Wellness at the villa
Villa Harmony has a hammam and a jacuzzi, Villa Perla a hammam and a small gym, and the master suite at Villa Venus its own hammam. At Al Maaden, the resort spa is part of the stay. For a day out: the best spas and hammams in Marrakech.
The city in 15 to 23 minutes

The Atlas and the desert

The largest golf villa has seven bedrooms. Al Maaden. Villa Deluxe Almaaden is inside the Al Maaden Golf Resort, with the golf on site and access to the resort’s spa and restaurant.
Samanah. From the roof of Villa Eva you look over the Samanah golf course and the Atlas.
Several courses nearby. Villa Asana, on the Route d’Amizmiz, is within a 5-minute drive of the Noria, Royal Palm and Samanah courses.

Villa Idir is on the front line of the Amelkis golf. Villa Harmony and Villa Inocencia are on the Amelkis course, and Villa Deluxe Almaaden is inside the Al Maaden Golf Resort.
Which golf villas have a heated pool?
Villa Harmony, Villa Inocencia and Villa Eva have a heated pool. The pool at Villa Perla is heated on request.
How far are the golf villas from the centre of Marrakech?
According to their listings, 15 minutes for Villa Harmony and Villa Deluxe Almaaden, 18 to 20 minutes for Villa Idir, Villa Inocencia and Villa Perla, and 23 minutes for Villa Eva.
